At Mosul Bank Mobile Banking, accessible from Apple APP store and available and Google Play for free download, one of our main priorities is the privacy of the APP users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Mosul Bank Mobile Banking APP and how we use it.

The APP contains sensitive financial information, Bank accounts numbers and balances, Customer banking transactions and, customer personal information, IBAN. All sensitive information are secure by username and password and DFA by using IBAN digits DFA challenge.

The APP is available for all countries with no limitation. To access the customer area, you have to register at one of the Bank branches and you must be an account holder. Mosul Bank HQ and Branches are based in Iraq and have no branches, partners, and offices outside Iraq.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for the users of our APP with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in the APP. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this APP.

Information we collect

 

The APP contains information available for public and part of the APP are only available for Mosul Bank customers (Account Holders). Bank customers, have to register at one of the Mosul Bank Branches and provided with username and password and the IBAN DFA numbers.

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it during using the APP, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information. No information are collected without your knowledge.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

When you register for an Account at our branches (offline registration), we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

How we use your information

 

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the APP functions
  • Communicate with you, either directly, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the APP
  • Send you emails
  • Send you SMS as DFA during password change
  • Find and prevent fraud

Mosul Bank does not share, nor sell any collected information with third parties. All Mosul Bank APP communications are SSL encrypted between the APP and the Backend servers.

Log Files

 

Mosul Bank Mobile Banking follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log the APP functionality. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include the APP background and backend services, logs the workflows, the APP building blocks, such as how the formulas are working, how calculations are done, we do not collect or store any information other than the information collected during registration at the Bank Branch. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing APP behavior and performance.

Advertising Privacy Policies

 

Mosul Bank may advertise directly on the APP to promote our products and services. The Ads are 100% generated and managed by Mosul Bank. We do not use third party advertising partners and/or technologies. We do not push third party content in out advertisements.

Third Party Privacy Policies

 

Mosul Bank Mobile Banking's APP Privacy Policy does not apply to other technologies used to deliver the APP for you, such as the ISPs and the Mobile device manufacturers and other hardware and software technologies rather than the APP itself.

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.

If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our APP, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Limitation of Labilities

 

Users of the APP are fully responsible to keep their APP credentials from being leaked. We strictly prohibit any sharing of credentials between users and their friends and families or strangers. You are fully responsible to keep the credentials safe and secure. Mosul Bank is not responsible for any damage or loos of business caused by miss using the app or leakage of information caused by the user.

 Geographic Information and Geo Locations.

 

This APP uses Google Maps in APIs to show the locations of the Bank Branches and ATMs, we do not collect any user geographic information nor we store such information. The Privacy Policy, terms and conditions of Google Maps are totally owned and maintained by Google.
